Kiwi from Arunachal's Zero Valley, fruit known by its scientific name Actinidia deliciosa is rich in vitamin C and contain more of potassium, phosphorous and iron. The kiwifruit crop is highly dependent on pollination as the plants are functionally dioecious. Kiwi is mostly found in mid of Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, J&K, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Kerala. Kiwi is globally popular and widely cultivated fruit crop. It is known for its outstanding nutritive value and high lycopene content. It is very good source of income to marginal and small farmers and contributes to the nutrition of the consumers.
