A career as Indian Foreign Service Officer or IFS officer is a diplomat serving in more than 162 Indian diplomatic missions, and organisations around the world. In addition to this, they also work at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health Affairs, and Prime Minister’s office. In the career as IFS Officer, candidates also lead the Regional Passport Offices throughout the country and hold positions in the President’s Secretariat and several ministries on deputation.
