Director of the National and International Award winning movie Village Rockstars, Rima Das hails from Chhaygaon Assam and an Alma mater from Cotton University and Pune University, Rima Das is an Indian filmmaker. She always likes to enjoy her own space. For her, Filmaking is a journey. Awards she won are: National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Assamese, Productions designed: Village Rockstars, Bulbul Can Sing. Nominations: Shadi Abd El Salam Prize for Best Film, Asian Film Award for Best New Director.
